I finally wrote my eBook!  I'm an experienced R.N. with a passion for helping people discover their vocational callings, so I created a 102 page eBook, titled, "Should I Be a Nurse?  A Journey of Self-Exploration for Those Considering a Career in Nursing."  Thanks for encouraging me through "48 Days," and "Write to the Bank!"

Many seeking a stable career believe Nursing will be their answer. My website is Isnursing4me.com and there's a FREE minicourse there titled, "The 7 Essential Questions Every Future Nurse Must Ask," that I invite any interested readers to obtain.  Thanks for encouraging me through your products, your seminars, and your newsletters, to take what I am passionate about and turn it into something profitable!  Thank you again for your website and for sharing your wonderful way of looking at the world and our "place" in it!  You've been a real blessing!

    Aloha from Maui!

I am excited to share how 48 Days to the Work You Love has benefited me.  Reading the book and doing the exercises in the workbook inspired me to start my own business, appropriately named Be True to Yourself.  I now teach 48 Days workshops and offer individual life coaching to help people achieve their dreams.

My website can be found here, and my March 16th blog post shares how much the 48 Days materials have helped me and encourages others to attend my class or buy the participant kit so they can experience the benefits for themselves!

    Thanks Dan!

Dan recommends having several revenue streams to help balance out the ups and downs of being a working musician. I started Cool Springs Office Cleaning last March when a friend of mine was looking for a company to clean his office. We keep our buildings just as clean 6 months down the road as they were the first time we cleaned them.

I continue to play music in clubs around Nashville as a solo player and as a singer in the GK Parks Band, which is new band. I am working on a new CD and stay updated with the 48 Days podcast, 48 Days blog and newsletter. Dan's material keeps me motivated and updated on new and creative marketing and business strategies, and keeps my mind thinking about solutions, not problems. I know what it is like to work 40 hours a week and absolutely hate my job. Now my schedule allows me time to go for a bike ride at noon, then enjoy lunch outside on my patio. I used to look out a window from my cubicle and dream of doing just that!

Thanks for all you do, Sutton Parks

    Dan!

I'm writing with words of praise, not words of sorrow about the "depression". I've shot video of everything from music videos to WWF wrestling to corporate video.   Last year I made a goal of only doing video production work with a focus on Skateboarding.  Last year I made $40,000 working about 6 months shooting skateboarding travel to Dubai, UAE and Japan.  I spent the other months working on my other personal film projects.  I don't live in sunny California, but in snowy Minnesota.  So if I can make this much money in a small niche market like skateboarding (in Minnesota) anyone can.

Thanks to your material and tons of focus I'm doing the work I love!

OH!   I've lost 20 lbs thanks to the "depression".  From eating at home and working out!

I knew that your books would be something special but was totally caught off guard.  I am writing in the margins, underlining comments and phrases and highlighting areas I know I will refer back to for years to come.   When I am reading I feel like I am drinking high octane fuel for my mind and spirit.   I have read about 50 pages and have 2 full pages of notes which are ideas for my music career and life.

One gift that I received that had special significance was a statue from my son, Jared.  He’s visiting from Kigali, Rwanda, where he’s lived for the past three years, creating a fashion organization called KEZA.  For Christmas, he gave me a statue, called "Mzee" (em-zay) in Kenyarwanda, the native language there.  Now, "Mzee" means "old man", so at first I wasn’t too sure, but in Rwanda, calling someone "old man" is a term of endearment and respect for someone older and wiser. This gift was more than just a statue, but a tribute to wisdom from my son, and it will be displayed in my office.

    I CAN have it all!

Thanks to your techniques, I was able to redefine my career by using my sales and business experience combined with volunteer work to become a development (fundraising) director for a non-profit organization! I can work from home and will set a good example for my daughter!

    Thank you.

    Sincerely, Kristi

    Dan

You wanted to know what made us happy, and this picture says it all for me.  My doggies and kitties ARE my children and being with my "children" is what makes me happy.  I have "4" dogs and "4" cats . . . or should I say they have me!!  :-) All my furry babies bring me more joy than I can explain.  Most of my family is gone and I have 2 brothers who live in different states.  I'm recently separated and soon to be divorced, and my furry babies are comforting me and helping me through this difficult time in my life.  First of all, God is my strength and joy, but my "children" come in a close second!  No matter how bad my day goes, or my life at the moment, I still have wagging tails meeting me at the door, and a purring kitty who will always jump in my lap.  So I guess my happiness falls into the "family" area of your list since they are "my" family.  I do thank God each day for his grace and mercy and for his gift of creation....the animal kingdom which God says we are to have authority over.  Actually I think there are days they have authority over me, but either way, they are truly a gift from God to me!!!  I have MUCH to be thankful for!!!  God is good!

    Hi Dan and company,

My name is Ryan and this is a picture of me and my daughter-my immediate family. This is my little girl and she is growing fast. This picture is a couple years old-she will be turning 12 Nov. 22nd. I am a single father and my daughter is my favorite past time.

Here I am with my friend, Emomali, from Tajikistan where I recently served as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity's Global Village program.  I've discovered God’s calling on my life and, since reading "No More Mondays" a couple weeks ago, I’m now in my very humble beginnings of "Hope Heals"; a future non-profit organization helping those most in need.

For Ten years I worked in the flooring business. It was a good job and allowed me to buy my first house. However, I would come home to my family after work and not want to talk with anybody becuase I was so burnt out and unhappy. I have been priviledged to work for an internet company in which I get to be around new technology all day long (which I really enjoy) and I can work from home or the office. I am now happy when I come home to my family!

For 20 years I worked as a Stock Broker, Mortgage Broker and in Big Ticket sales positions, always under major stress, made good money, but realized money wasn't everything if your not comfortable doing what you love. I was always interested in horticulture and when I was in Hawaii saw bamboo and fell in love with it, Last year I decided to make a change in my life and pursue what I loved, growing exotic bamboo for everyone to enjoy!

I am a stay at home mom. One of my passions is horses. Anytime spent out under the blue sky, just me, God, and a horse, is good for my soul. It makes me happy to feel the wind in my hair as I ride along the mountain tops.

My career, a nurse practitioner, is a spiritual quest where awareness of financial needs require my physical strength in a social walk that benefits my family and my personal development! A five mile walk inspired me! Success is having others follow your footsteps in their own shoes!

Here is a picture of me doing what I love doing best – theater.  In this shot, I am playing the apostle Peter, doing a monologue about my denial of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.  This combines both my spiritual passion and recreation!

God has used you to help me set up "Crosseyed Ministries"

It's a ministry where I write material, travel, preach, teach, and even use stand up comedy with one purpose: To help people stay focused on Jesus as they go through life.

I have created many free resources (ebooks etc) and I am finalizing the work on an Evangelism Training teaching, Devotional and other "How To... resources.

Honestly, I'm having trouble sleeping because my head will not stop swirling with ideas of how to help the body of Christ.

Thank you for reminding me to tap into what God has already placed in me! God Bless You!

My name is Kimmie Beasley from Charleston, SC. I am the "Virtual Spokesperson" for ViewThisHome.com.  I go to Trade Shows, blog on the website via "Ask Kimme", and put my PR degree to use!    Future plans for the grass roots approach to marketing the site include me touring the country in a ViewThisHome.com logo wrapped RV.  This would truly be meshing two of my passions: promoting a strong product and traveling while getting paid!!  I've read all of the Dan Miller books and they have helped me create this opportunity for myself.  I'm coming to see you in Tennessee Dan!  Stay tuned...

My name is Selina Reyes. I'm a single mother of two amazing kids; Iraldy, 12 and Angelito, 10. One of my biggest passions is to sing, praise and worship God through one of the talents that God gave me; my voice. In this picture I was performing during a local concert sponsor by a Christian Radio Station (Renacer 106.1 fm). I made it to the final! It was an amazing experience thanks to the Lord!!

Hey, meet Poindexter, a lovable Nerd who I like to play as a comic act!  Acting and entertaining is what I love and I am currently working toward doing this as my full time career, finally at age 45!  It's certainly not too late and I'm looking forward to doing what I know that God has been calling me to do all along.  I have always wanted to be involved in theater as a profession, but just never really had the courage to pursue it.  Thanks to Dan Miller and "48 Days to the Job You Love", I am praying and planning to break away from the "9 to 5" and live for what I love!

Here is one of the things I love to do. I am an evangelist and I love to share the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST through Biblical Costumed Monologs. It is fun and informative, plus, it is something people never forget.
