    Coaching Options

Here are a few testimonials from personal coaching clients:

"The promotion to National Sales Manager came true! I've never been happier! The incredible part of the whole experience is the support and joy being expressed by my co-workers and clients. I will always be grateful for your guidance in getting me back on the "path!"
    Derek A.

"I thought I'd let you know how my salary negotiation went. I used the tips I learned from you and I got everything I asked for. "EVERYTHING". A nice raise and a company pick-up truck that I get to go pick out at the Dodge dealership are just a couple of the items in my package. Thanks for all your help."
    Charles B.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for all your help during my recent career crisis. You changed my life!……….You really guided my to the place where I was able to make a very important career decision……….I felt empowered to make my decision after your analysis and consultation."
    Cindy H.

"The insights and ideas we discussed were of great value in my career change. I firmly believe the service you provided in my career change helped to identify and project my strengths….at the same time giving a prospective employer a reason to hire and train me."
    David M.

"To say you nailed me 100% would be putting it lightly! I am still assimilating the information and understanding that I was given. It is amazing to me the freedom I already feel in my pursuits now that the goal is more defined. Again, thank you for your insight and encouragement."
    Donny M.

"I just want to thank you for all your guidance and wise counsel……..The process was well worth the effort, and in fact exceeded my expectations. With your help, I have been able to define new and nurturing directions for my life and vocation, and am actively pursuing those directions. I look forward to the future with confidence and excitement."
    Stephen D.

"I have been professionally lost all of my life, because I was making career choices that did not match my personality. Because of your work, I will forever be a happier and more contented professional. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
    Mary W.

"This is a process, not a band-aid approach. Once I begin this process with you, your needs and clear direction become a priority, thus I am available via e-mail or periodic  phone conversations in addition to the  scheduled times together."

"If you live in the southeast area, face-to-face sessions are an added bonus to the process. However, with the magic of technology, phone & email sessions are becoming more common, so distance is not an obstacle to your success."

"Once you submit the following questionnaire, I will personally email you to follow up. There is no charge to fill out the profile, and every prospect must complete the questionnaire before talking with a coach. If you have any other questions regarding the coaching process, please email customerservice@48days.com, or you may call 615-373-7771 or national toll-free at 888-373-7771 and leave a message and someone will return your call within one business day."

Here you will see an overview of my Career and Life Coaching process. I've had the wonderful privilege of coaching for over 18 years now - working with some of the greatest people I've ever met. We've been able to look at desired transitions or unexpected challenges and to find creative solutions on that path of fulfilling God's unique purpose.

We now have many coaches listed on our Coaching Resource tab at www.48Days.net While I focus on career and life planning, many of these other 48 Days Coaches have areas of specialty like financial planning, spiritual direction, health and nutrition, diabetes guidance, ADHD issues, growing healthy relationships, business growth, artist development, writing excellence, and technology issues.

If you are looking for Career and Life Coaching, I would be delighted to review the information profile you'll find below. I'll make sure you are given options that match your needs and budget. If you're looking for guidance in one of the other areas, I'll personally review that as well and make a recommendation to you about working with one of our experienced coaches.

    Personal Coaching

Common Questions That Lead To Personal Consulting:

    • What is unique about me?
    • What is causing me so much unrest?
    • Am I fulfilling my purpose, destiny, calling or mission?
    • Is my life accomplishing anything?
    • How will I be remembered?
    • Is it too late to change?
    Note from Dan:

Many "coaches" come from a traditional counseling or teaching background, where the expected pace of change is very slow. Some are more comfortable working on "pathology" rather than with healthy individuals. It is reasonable to ask questions of a potential coach, such as, "Are you living the life you are holding out as a model?" Has the coach achieved some level of success in the business world? By definition, a coach must be an encourager and example of action, not just a listening ear!

My coaching is very results-oriented.  I move very quickly toward solutions and plans of action.  After taking a brief assessment of where you are and how you got there, we immediately begin to shape your best options for new levels of success.

"Are you ready to quit wasting time and get busy spending your days working at what you were created to do?"

    Yours In Success!

    Working with an Executive Coach...

Working with an executive coach is often the first step many individuals take as they plan for a career move, a new job, a promotion, or in anticipating a new "season" in life. If the need for a change has come unexpectedly, it's easy for self-confidence to be low and frustration to be high, with the effects of these spilling over into family and personal life. Making changes of this magnitude, especially without any counsel, can be very intimidating, but it can also be the most exciting time of your life – if you see it as an opportunity to take a fresh look at where you are and where you want to go.

This coaching process is not traditional counseling. While counseling focuses on the past, coaching is very future oriented.  I work with clients on setting priorities and goals, identifying your "unique value," and walking with you through the steps of taking action that will enable you to achieve a higher level of success.

I have been coaching individuals for over 20 years. This work evolved out of the continued requests I was receiving from successful, healthy people who were looking to explore their best options for maximal success. Also, we recognize that work models are changing. The old model of a traditional 8-5 job is not the only choice. In working with professionals from all areas, we explore consulting, free-lance work, franchises and entrepreneurial opportunities as well as the traditional career paths. The correct focus for this can only be discovered by knowing what is unique about you.

Don't be embarrassed regarding "I don't know what I want to be when I grow up." This is still the most common initial phrase we hear – even from competent, successful professionals with CEO level positions and half-million dollar salaries. Recognize this is a continuing process. Life experience allows us to ask the right questions; ones we could not have known at 18 or 20-years-old. We find that many people simply realize they do not want to continue living their lives based on the decisions that were made when they were 20-years-old.  A large percentage of clients I see are attorneys, physicians, dentists, accountants, pastors, business owners and other professionals who are questioning the direction of their careers – now that they have some significant and, typically, successful years of experience behind them.  It's a healthy process, at any given season of life, to draw that line in the sand and take a fresh look at where you are, and where you're going.  Changes, often even when unexpected, may offer a new opportunity to redirect in a more authentic and "fitting" manner.  Expect that this process will release your best competencies and blend your values, dreams and passions.

What's involved in personal coaching with Dan?

It's intense, and intended for one thing, and one thing only – to get you to the results you are now dreaming about. The dramatic personal coaching successes are the core of everything we do at 48 Days. It's why we have a thriving business selling workbooks and CDs based on what I do with real coaching clients. It's why the 48 Days products are being sold in stores around the world.  It's why we just released Internation, Paperbook, Audio, and Spanish versions.  It's why websites like Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN, The 700 Club) Crosswalk, LifeWay and others use me as their sole Career resource.  It's why I just landed a major deal with Random House Publishers in New York.
